Started his career with the Mazon Fire Protection District in Dec of 2001 as a cadet. Through the years Brookman II has held multiple position within the department including Lieutenant, Captian, Assistant Chief, and Deputy Fire Chief. Chief Brookman was appointed Fire Chief Dec of 2020. Chief Brookman lives in Mazon with his wife and three sons and is a second generation fire fighter.
