The Mazon Fire Department is pleased to offer assistance to those residents who require help accessing their smoke alarms for testing, installation, or battery maintenance. To request assistance please fill out the form below and a member of the department will contact you to set up a date and time. This service is only valid for the battery-operated smoke detectors. (Somone 18 years old or older will need to be present during the visit.)
Mazon Fire Protection District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Mazon Fire Protection District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
